我要投诉古来21哩一带住宅区几乎每个星期总有一天没有自来水，这种现象已经延续了近乎半年有多了！我们感到非常的苦恼，希望国会议员林先生能帮忙解决令我们尽快脱离苦海！

About the project which are running in Saleng road, the huge pit the leave by kontaktor already cause a dead of one young guy. According to the resident, the were NOT any clear warning sign around the pit before the incident occur. Only they putting that after the incident. I wonder how can they do like that? Why always the alternative is taken after one incident occur!!! Is any action being taken against the kontraktor or JKR? They are doing those stupid things against the law in Malysia ,one of these is OSHA 1994 (Occupational, Safety and Health Act). I would like to ask is any action being taken AGAIST the stupid, poor kontraktor or anyone whose responsible about the project?

Please accept my apology for not being to reply to you earlier as I was tied down at the Parliament sittings coupled with other emergency matters that required immediate attention.

The sewerage project at Saleng was undertaken by a contractor appointed by Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran. The contractor concerned has put up adequate warning signages after the unfortunate incident. The family of the victim is at liberty to commence appropriate action against the parties for redress.

The contractor ought to have exercised reasonable care during the material time.I have informed the JPS in respect of the safety precautions particularly in the future.

1. Traffic light in Kulai area always out of oder.
   Especially Kulai Town, PLUS junction & Kota Tinggi Junction.
   It's was harmful to all of user.Maybe MDK should change the constractor.
   
2. Kulai Town got so many junction, Especially in Batu 21 & Batu 19.
   The distant between 2 junction was less than 100m.Can MDK re-plan the junction ? 

Try to reduce it.

1. According to the technical department from MDK,the whole system is basically based on computer-controlled equipments.
   Some times due to electricity supply breakdown, lightnings, damaged by insects or even vandalism. Unfortunely as there are just three units of traffic light presently under the jurisdiction of MDK, it is not viable as yet to engage private contractor to maintain such device. Nevertheless as soon as the number of traffic lights increase  within the MDK area , there shall be a specific contractor appointed to take care of the system. Meanwhile if you do encounter any problem, you may call MDK Tel: 6632132 or Police Tel: 6632222.
   
2. According to the Traffic Committee of MDK , they are currently taking steps to reduce the number of junctions in particular Batu 19.
   The stretch of road from Shell Service Station to the IOI Interchange shall be divided into two phases. The first phase shall comprise of the closing of the junction in front of Chia Peng Restaurant and the junction in front of UOB Bank. At the same time, the junction in front of BUMIPUTRA-COMMERCE Bank will be widened and it will be "left-in left-out" only.You will also notice that the junction leading to Taman Kulai Besar and Jalan Kg Baru are both currently under widened up by JKR. Hopefully all these will ease the traffic flow within that vicinity in the future. Other junctions will be looked into
   upon the completion of the first phase.

I would like to highlight to you that All Plants and Trees on both sides of Jalan Raya Kulai(especially those from Kulai Police Station to Taman Kota Kulai) needs to be trimmed.  All Plants and Trees on that area had grown up rapidly during raining season, most of the branches had extended to the road.  The branches is hanging low and carried weight when raining.  When there is a container lorry running on that road, you could see branches touching the container lorry and most of the time pulled down by the lorry.  Furthermore, when there is heavy rain with strong wind, I'm afraid the branches might break and fall on the road causing great danger to the road users.
For the safty of the public, I sincerely hope that you could instruct/request the local authority to clear the hanging branches along the area mentioned.

Thank you for your concern over the over-grown trees along the main trunk
road. I shall personally bring up this matter with the local authority and
get the trees trimmed as soon as possible.
